Students of Christian Science strive to follow Jesus' teachings and example, especially his commands to his disciples to "heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils" (Matt. 10:8), and that "he that believes in me, the works that I do, will he do also" (John 14:12).
